thats a visual bug, due to the way I handle automatically highlighting the stats in the text. Strig's name snuck through the cracks in the detection lol. It will be fixed in the big update.
Sorry I missed this comment, Im glad you like it! There are actually 3 hidden monsters with special secret requirements to show up! 2 dont have hints in game but have been talked about on here and discord. In order of easiest to hardest.
1. Check shops for an item you don't see anywhere else. It will hint to you what to do.
2. Requires a specific tier 3 village structure. You need to do something you wouldnt normally do. It is tangentially related to cold. You will know if you did it right as soon you go to select your team for a new run.
3. Requires a bird egg from egg sense. you need to carry it with you to a specific non-random event. It will be tangentially related to warmth. It will hatch automatically when you do the right thing.
Theyre kinda convoluted so feel free to ask for more info or exact solutions.
It allows you to purchase a Radiant Aurite 1 time from a aurite location during a run. Radiant Aurite costs 777, and when used on a 3rd form monster, gives them the rest of the abilities you didnt pick when evolving them.
you shouldnt be able to, there is a small bug with that option allowing you to buy it even if you dont have the village station built though. There is one you can get from the greater blessings rewards from looping in infinite mode though. That one doesnt care if you bought one and doesnt require the village.

I haven't updated you all in a while!!!! i had more hardware issues so i had to restart again i think its trying to tell me something... anyways this is the end of loop 3 (also i count the first run/standard as loop 0!!!)!! look at him. just a little guy. fun fact: i ate over 2k food in this loop.
This calamity, no synergies challenge is actually so difficult. Oh and Im not using, tizik, hydrim, urso, gora, skimander of krog because I like suffering :)
I REALLY need Nessa or Kabu to soak up damage and poison AND Im thinking about hollow woad even though that seems really dumb. But with no easy debuff removal and no op damage dealers, starting with the choice of like 5-10 different teams and taking enough hits while dealing enough damage has so far been beyond me
so they each apply stacks, but only 1 triggers the damage, since there are no stacks left for the 2nd to take away. Effectively it makes it activate twice as fast.
That could make mudgill rlly OP. imagine if i put 5 of them on shark. Each hit takes away 11% of HP. Even against a full lineup of enemies, they just need to hit 54 times to win
that would be really good, although it will be tough making mudgill attack fast now that you only have 1 item slot remaining. There are other ways to deal with max HP enemies even faster.
fair point; even one spyglass would be enough. What other mons you plan on adding to deal with ascetics and scavengers? I assume strong casters like wyrmlet and hydrim?

hey are all monsters unlocked from the start or are some monsters unviable until you do something because I haven't seen 3 monsters yet.
huge fan of this game. however three creatures have never shown up for me so i was wondering if it was a bug or not

REALLLLL sadly they all died and i lost the run like a loop later lmao
if you put the heavy shackles item on all your guys and get the bulky 3 synergy, its really easy to get 4000 hp on all your monsters :)

Out of curiosity, how does fused bonebiters work? Does each individual bonebiter deal the damage or does only one apply?

yes but the great thing about mudgill is he is a lone machine gun. If you are using tizik, you might as well just go with the salamander too
