Big Brain Update
This update introduces a whole new stat: Int, which represents the magical power of a monster. Many abilities and some times now use Int instead of Str to determine how strong they are. This allows more ways to customize and focus on improvements for specific monsters. Ex: Pyris, the little flame monster's passive Ignite now is uses it's Int instead of Str, allowing for it to start stronger, since it's no long affecting both the direct attack damage as well. Hydrim, the water elemental's Cleanse active ability has also changed to heal based on it's Int instead of the target's HP. Now it will be more effective at helping weaker monster, and buffable too! Abuncha other monsters also now utilize Int so make sure to check out their descriptions.
To make that easier, stats are also now Color Coded in the monster and item descriptions too. So now if an ability says it deals 100% Str damage to an enemy, Str will appear in Red, same as it does on the monster's stats. This should really help improve readability at a glance. Also each boss has their own icon on the map, so you can plan around who's coming up!
That's not all though, this update also introduces another new monster, Karakai. A timid little lizard who hides in their egg shell. Their passive, Shelled provides a ton of Def at the start of the fight, but a little bit is lost each time they take damage. Their active Shrapnel Blast hits multiple random enemies and lowers their defense as well. This guy doesn't stay little for long though, and can turn into a real power house from evolves.
There's also 8 new items, many relating to Int, as well as some old ones also being changed to have it. Most (but not all!) instances of +Ability damage has changed to Int, such as with the Heartwood Staff, so they will improve a wider range of abilities and be more impactful early.
Last but not least, there have been plenty of bug fixes. Supers should no longer occasionally leave the screen partially tilted, enemy targeting lines update when switching items prebattle, infinite team selection and super glitches should be gone. Thanks for everyone reporting issues!
