Difficulty Update


Back again with another update. 

First and foremost there is now a Difficulty Slider at the start of the game.  You can increase or decrease the challenge by up to 2 stages.  These will change how many wounds you can take, the stats of enemies and what you start with.  

-2 New Monsters: Chip the Rock Elemental [Elemental/Bulky].  A tanky caster that's hefty weight causes stunning shockwaves when changing positions, and can punch enemies hard enough to send them to the back.  

-Mabek the Gatekeeper [Haunted/Lucky].  A vengeful monster that gains Str from taking damage and can punish enemies more for each fallen ally.  

-2 New Items, the Flux Shard adds some of the wielder's Int to their Def every time they're hit. and The Bloodmist Mask which drastically increases Spd, but stuns you after every 5 attacks.

-8 New Enemies, ranging from the little Shardlings to the terrifying Hulks.  

There are also special battles now that include treasure on the battlefield.  You must attack them a certain number of times to open them, but if you take too long your enemies will teleport them away, potentially wasting all that effort you spent attacking them.

Other balancing a bug fixes too.  Some of the less offensive monsters have gotten Str boosts to their 2nd and 3rd forms.  The Defensive Super Grand Guard has been slightly nerf to reduce incoming damage by 90% instead of 100%.  The Pact Dealer event now will apply to any future monsters you gain too.  Cultists deal more dmg, but have less health.  Arcanist's cast a bit faster.  Bugs: Urso's Shake Off can't heal them back from the dead (The Destroyer Liked This).  Krog's 3rd Stage ability Chorus now properly uses Krog's Int instead of the targets' Int for healing.
